I heard this song after my parents divorced; my mother had been emotional abused for over 20 years. I won't lie, this song sounded like her freedom, and I cried my little heart out. Every time I hear this song, I remember her face when I played it for her. What an amazing song. |

This song is so excellent, the music I mean, I don't think they're is much hope for me to understand his lyrics, but it is good, nonetheless. I thought the Waterline was just a metaphor, not literal, flood or whatever else, but like I said, I really don't know. I thought maybe, like, he was drowning in something? Great music, easy to listen to. |

I think turtonhot was right... The song seems to be about a girl who was raped by her father, "He jacked the little bitty baby," and you're saying it is about you. I know you were joking wildflower, but it never happened to you...? Then you don't what it is like. She (fictional or no) would have been living with this man, it would have been one of the worst things that could ever happen to you... BUT honestly, you people are all overreacting, wildflower was joking, and then when turtonhot said something about it, (seemingly a joke?) you all jump down his/her throat. This is one of my favourite songs, I'm not very old, but this song is still the best! |
