Ah, wasn't "Final Solution" the Nazi plan to exterminate the Jews? "The Final Solution (German: Die Endlösung) was Nazi Germany's plan and execution of its systematic genocide against European Jewry during World War II, resulting in the final, most deadly phase of the Holocaust (Shoah). Hitler termed it: "the solution of the Jewish question in Europe."" This song reminds me of concentration camps, where the Jews are being lined up... Ick. |

| The Beatles – It Won't Be Long Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I really like the version from Across the Universe of this. Sung by Evan Rachel Wood. That movie has a lot of connections to the Beatles, like were everybody is singing "All You Need Is Love" on a rooftop, like the Beatles did for their last concert. Trippy movie. | |

It reminds me of the "theme song" or whatever it is of Freaky Fred from Courage the Cowardly Dog Where the melody is all soothing but the words are very creepy. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Eraser (Denial; Realization) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think he did something wrong and he thought it was going to be okay but he ended up hating himself for it and the realization makes him want to die and have whoever he hurt, erase him from their memory. | |
| Nine Inch Nails – Last Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Oh, one more thing. "my lips may promise but my heart is a whore" - he says "I love you" or whatever and he doesn't mean it and/or sometimes he does but that doesn't last or the person has somebody else when they tell him that he's the only one: "this isn't ment to last" "dress up this rotten carcass just to make it look alive" - he feels so used that he feels as if his soul has left him and he's just there, like his eyes are blackened and he's hollowed and decayed |

"i wish i could put all the blame on you i want you to make me i want you to take me i want you to break me then i want you to throw me away" I think it's about... He's in a relationship and he lies about quite a few things and thinks she or whoever it is doesn't need them, that he's too lowly for them. He wants them to throw him away because that's all he thinks he's worth, is trash. |

He is the watcher, the ghost. Everybody hears and sees him but does not actually hear him, all they hear is words that mean nothing to them. They look at him as if he's a robot, used only for working "I built this place with broken parts" - he tried/is trying to build a new self with his older broken self "just like they said" - people told him this would happen or he told himself in third-person "i'm safe in here\irrelevant\just like they said" - he's not responding to anything going around him; he's locking himself away in his head, where he can just watch "my voice just echoes off these walls" - nobody hears him, responds, answers his questions, ignores his feelings. "you feel me breathe\i am watching you\i see it all" - he's watching and they can feel his presence "the many ways you can't get to me" - he's locking himself up, nobody can contact him or make him respond to anything "oh the things i could do (if i wanted to) " - he knows he can do anything if anybody would at least listen "and i just slowly fade away\you will never ever get to me in here" - like in his 10 Miles High song, you will never get him because he is locked inside his head, where, since his "voice echoes off these walls", he feels he is dissapearing |

| Nine Inch Nails – Head Down Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The picture that shows up when you play it (if you downloaded it from the NIN site, from the PDF file) is a picture of a head looking down. The red could be his mind being 1,000,000 miles away? | |
| Nine Inch Nails – Lights in the Sky Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think that the Lights in the Sky are the sun an the moon, based on the picture in the PDF file it came with when you download it from the NIN site that comes up when you play the song. | |
| Nine Inch Nails – Even Deeper Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I think this song is about Trent getting all what he's ever wanted but he's still not happy, from what he said once: "...I was at my most miserable when I had everything I ever wanted..." |
