| Fall Out Boy – Tiffany Blews Lyrics | 16 years ago |
"Dear gravity, you've held me down in this starless city" You need to listen to this song whilst looking at these lyrics, because that line is the most powerful I have ever heard in my entire life. xo |

| Rancid – Time Bomb Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Tears come from the razor that's been tattooed below his eye is he on about tear tattoos here? because that symbolizes the death of a loved one. if its filled in it means the wearer has killed whoever is responsible for the loved one's death. |

| Bring Me the Horizon – Diamonds Aren't Forever Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is about not wasting your life! I never EVER understood "if you think you're alive, well you're better off fucking dead", it didn't really seem to fit in with Rawwwr, and I never thought about it too much. But now I totally get it with this song! If you think you're living life how it's *supposed* to be - you're better off dead. People living their lives according to some religious book, heaven is what they're promised after death. No no, they've got it all wrong. We're all going to hell, so quit restricting yourself for some fuckin' book and go out in style. Sleep is associated with death, it's a common saying. Diamonds are forever also a common saying - but wrong. nothing is forever, including a sparkly stone. Refuse to lay back and close your eyes. Wake up. Fucking Live. I LOVE this song, it's so clever. |

| Fall Out Boy – Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Upon first hearing this song I thought it was a weak intro to the album, actually I thought the whole album was weak on first listening, but it's grown on me. (something which instantly happened with the past albums but hey, if I'd have wanted something that sounded like FUCT, I'd have put FUCT on.) I kind of get the whole "folie a deux" idea from this, I can imagine two people singing this to one another, "Nobody wants to hear you sing about tragedy" or even to themselves in a mirror. It reminds me of the line "I'm sick of writing songs for you to slit your writst to" I think Pete's saying "I'm giving up writing depressing tragedies in my song" (at least for this album :) "I'll promise you anything for another shot at life" yeah I definitely see two people sharing madness singing this to each other, or to themselves. I'm not saying this is what the song's about, this is just what I think when I hear it. |

| The Murderdolls – Twist My Sister Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I first heard this song when I was 12 years old, and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I used to love dressing like a gothic idiot, but wasn't a fan of the music Murderdolls showed me how fun dressing up could be, and how you don't have to fit a stereotype 100%. Six years on... I still fucking love this band. This is the greatest song in the history of music. and I don't even like twisted sister. |

| Fall Out Boy – 20 Dollar Nose Bleed Lyrics | 17 years ago |
WHO SINGS WHAT?! This is actually driving me insane. They DO sound similar, when I first heard panic at the disco after pete was forever going on about them, I honestly thought they were an old band that FOB was influenced by! Srsly! B's voice is a tiny bit deeper, and with that limited knowlege I got this as his contribution. Brendon: Permanent jetlag, Please take me back, Patrick: Please take me back Brendon: Please take me back, I'm a stray dog sick, please let me in Patrick: (Please let me in) Brendon: When life keeps tripping singing vows before we exchange smoke rings Both: Chorus Brendon: Don't let the doctor in Brendon: B-b-b-b-Benzedrine... |

"When I look at the man who would be king" Prince Harry went to war... and they came back with flags on coffins. I LOVE that verse, it sums up how there are NEVER winners in war. |

| Robert Pattinson – Let Me Sign Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I like this song, but I am a bit annoyed about how incoherent rob sings I get that it's a certain style of singing, but it's like his american accent, it just doesn't fit :) The lyrics are beautiful though, did he write this? xo |

| Fall Out Boy – (Coffee's for Closers) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

| Cobra Starship – I Kissed a Boy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
If this was the actual single, I doubt all the scally lads would be playing it on the back of buses. Everyone would be like "er gay!" But it's okay if it's a girl. Ridiculous. I love cobra starship for this. respectttt.! |

| Fall Out Boy – The (Shipped) Gold Standard Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Amazing song. "I wanna scream "I Love You" from the top of my lungs but I'm afraid that someone else will hear me You can only blame your problems on the world for so long before it all becomes the same old song" He's afraid of being in love, and he's always making excuses and writing the same old shit? |
| Fall Out Boy – America's Suitehearts Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Best song on the album imo. This is far more like what we'd expect from FOB. (I'm aware bands change real fans stick blahblahblah - but why should I be forced to enjoy the change, I know what I like thanks.) The chorus is amazing. I'm getting a very sarcastic vibe from this song, anyone else? |
| Fall Out Boy – I Don't Care Lyrics | 17 years ago |
No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no. If it wasn't for the line; "The best of us can find happiness in the misery" I would not recognise this as a FOB song. What the hell is going on? And the chorus is a NIRVANA SONG. http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/4044/ |

| Alkaline Trio – In Vein Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I agree with ToothAche. Keep it fresh, and this album has done the best out of all the previous ones. Alk3 are clearly on their way up. And if anyone gets pissy because Alk3 are starting to sell records out then grow the fuck up. D'you think these guys got in a band with the intention to never become successful? |
| Alkaline Trio – Love Love, Kiss Kiss Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Jesus christ, the lyrics don't have to be so intricate and dark all the fucking time. Was "I've got a big fat fuckin bone to pick with you my darling" put so cryptically? no. but it got the point across and we all loved it. Love love, kiss kiss blah blah blah. Fuck off with your PDAs, theres no better way to put it. it's a good bitter song. I'm sick of people bashing this new album because the lyrics arent as "depressing" Do you really want a collection of albums that sound exactly the same? |
| David Bowie – Oh! You Pretty Things Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I see blatant religious reference!! "A crack in the sky and a hand reaching down to me" Imagine that ... it's an image of a god. "Where the books were found by the Golden ones" The "prophets" who found the books of the bible Which were actually simply written by a "puzzled man who questioned what we were here for". "Homosapiens have outgrown their use" We're no longer connected to god like adam and eve once were? As for the chorus; You're driving your parents nuts, let me make it plan kids, you gotta make way for your superiors. I've got no idea how to link it together, but those are my ideas. |
| David Bowie – Ashes to Ashes Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Bowie was my breast milk growing up, my dad is a huge fan, he's followed him on several tours around the world. I'm seventeen and this is my favourite song in the world. My interpretations are pretty similar, I adore the storyline, and the original creepy thought of Major Tom still floating around in his little spaceship years after Space Oddity. Anyway, I don't understand the "I never did anything out of the blue" Any thoughts? |

myamericanheartx3 Chill. "This whole fucking band creates songs that have titles that make no fucking sense to the song" Just because you don't have the mental capacity to understand something doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. xo |

| Akon – I Wanna Fuck You (feat. Snoop Dogg) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Oh ffs. The whole songs about how she's fucking controlling him through her body. Shes using her sexuality to tease him. If anything, the girls exploiting akon, and hes just beefin'. Good song, I like the clean version better overall though tbh! xo |
| Fall Out Boy – Bang the Doldrums Lyrics | 18 years ago |
What's all this "You're wrong Are we all wrong" bollocks!? It doesn't sound ANYTHING like it. I can sorta hear the "are we" but I think it's just add-libbing, ffs theres such a thing as looking too much into it!!! it's Yo-ho-ho! Check the lyrics book! |

| All Time Low – Remembering Sunday Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Who's the other guy singing with juliet!!?????!?!??! it's actually driving me INSANE. I love this song so much. But who's the other singer? The one who starts off the "I'm not coming back..." Someone enlighten me, please! xo |
| All Time Low – Vegas Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"Listening to everything our parents told us not to take in" Is that about parents being hypocrites? e.g. drinking smoking but telling their kids not to? So this is the kids listening to the parts of their parents that they're not supposed to, and ignoring everything their parents told them to listen to? |
| All Time Low – Vegas Lyrics | 18 years ago |
When you get married in vegas it's usually a spurr of the moment thing I think that part is about being young and reckless. This song is about being young, the times when your friends are more important than your job or girl/boyfriend. "We've got it all figured out for now So let us live our lives without a doubt" Teenagers think they know everything. What's wrong with that? I love this song. |

| Fall Out Boy – I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me and You) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"Me & you, setting; in a honeymoon. If I woke up next to you" I can wake up next to anybody after a meaningless one night stand. But if I woke up next to you, it'd be for something real. Like a honeymoon. I also like the hearts & wrists 2/3 interpretation. Your heart may be broken but just be thankfull you made it out alive. This song is beautiful. Sound's to me like they're still in love with an old flame. xo |

| Enter Shikari – No Sssweat Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"Nobody has respect for our generation!" This song makes so much sense now. "Wheres your respect? Why bite the hand that feeds you?" I think thats mocking how older generations are saying we dont have enough respect for them, that we shouldnt disrespect those that gave us everything. However, Enter Shikari throw their words back at them "where's YOUR respect? ....I'd like to see you get your teeth round this" No problem. No conscience. We bite and we don't care. |

| Bring Me the Horizon – Black & Blue Lyrics | 18 years ago |

S'all just Oli as far as I can see. The songs pretty easy to understand. Someone's been beaten and they're going to hell and he hates them so much he's going to be very happy when they're dead. I don't think it's necissarily a girl. |
