The Soft Drugs – Don't Sweat It Lyrics 18 years ago
TW is obviously referencing someone who is in the grips of addiction. It starts off with a passive, satirical response..."it's ok, we can walk home" but it escalates to the same guy doing the same thing ten years down the road. The line "what you gonna do when it dawns on you" is more or less the climax of the song because the passive character is taking a stand and is standing up to his addicted friend and he stops sugar coating everything and puts it in black and white. This guy is on the the hard drugs.
