best song on the album in my opinion very chill but yeah i think that something happened in a relationship and i htink when he says"i don't look back much as a rule..." that whole stanzas thing he means that he doesn't like thinking about the relationship and he is...sad i guess. i like the guitar like in this if you play guitar you should learn this song with a buddy casue theres 2 parts but anyways its a really good song! |

this song has been there with me my whle life i love it! in my opinion coldplay's album Parachutes is their best it starts of happy with don't panic and goes into more of a mellow less happy tone from shiver to we never change then it ends the album perfectly with everything's not lost i love this song. i think what coldplay was trying to express was when you love someone but they don't love you back you think they did and you think that you both saw "sparks"(hince the name of the song) and you miss that person. i can relate i think alot of us can
