"Let me sleep so my teeth won't grind" If this song is about anger towards the media, perhaps this line is a way of saying "Gimme some peace to do my own thing"? Think about it, when people get angry, sometimes they grind their teeth. Could be that simple. Just an idea though |

Although not all their songs are about drugs, this one is, in part anyway. Jerry wrote this to let out his frustrations with Layne and his drug addiction, as I'm sure Layne's health issues meant they had to cancel some of their gigs did they not? |
