| I love this song!!!! What caught my attention was the fact that my b/f has snuck over to my house, woken me up (or tried to at least) at my window, so we talk for a little bit (I know, it's not on a phone, but it makes do), then I send him home cuz it's late and there's school in the morning. But it really nailed to spot for me, and I absolutely LOVE this song!!!! Reminds me of that one special guy.... | |

I listened to the Snow Patrol Podcast (off their official website) and they say that the meaning of "Set Fire To The Third Bar" is referring to a certain type of fire. Not any musical reference or to bars. It's trying to depict an image of warmth and comfort. For me, though, this song makes me think of that one person, and how I can never see them unless I really try (which I do!) and how you feel whenever you're spending time with them. But that's my personal opinion. Except for that first paragraph. |
