this song sounds to me like it is abotu a failed relationship. She has trouble falling in love and trusting people. shes rich. she "wants to be down with the down and in" so maybe she lives with this guy in his crappy house and their living this like poor existence but its okay cuz their in love. only hes realizing they aren't in love anymore and she is getting out. cuz maybe she was just using him so she could try out this penniless existence and shes over it and hes over her little lies and games. and he basically lost that whole year because it was all a lie.... i dunno haha thats just what I get from it. |

So yeahh this song is about drugs, crystal meth mainly. but it also carries sex references "she comes round and she goes down on me. and I make you smile like a drug for you, do ever what you wanna do, coming over you" a girl AND drugs and this whirl wind they're caught up in. basically this song is AMAZING. I love how the song slows down in the middle, and then comes back full force, like coming down off of drugs, then he hits again and its like full blast. I love that "we tripped on the urge to feel alive". AHHHH this song. just amazing. |
