I'm sorry that mikus fikus seems to have such trouble in understanding what leonard cohen is doing. That his music 'shocks the fuck out of you' should be a blessing. Cohen's work is intended to be extremely emotive, albeit a little difficult to decipher at times. The things that you hate about him (that his lyrics are as obscure and mysterious as he is, and that you find him shocking) may be the very things that you would admire if you listened to his music and understood him more. |
