at first glance, the lyrics invoke scenes of people rolling e. all the references to everything being fine, but especially because of the "true love" who dances with "plastic rings."

i absolutely adore this song.
i think the "we counted every minute left to go" is either them counting down the time apart until they can be together again OR them counting down the time until they can go home together.
my favorite part is "time without you drags me down/ it all feels right with you around/ it all feels light with you around" -- i hope i feel like this about someone someday.
