I don't think it's an attack on war, It's more along the lines of someone feeling abandoned by everyone in his life so he figures "might as well fight for something" so he joins the military and then his loved ones don't realize til it's too late that neglect of their relationships with him brought everything to this point---------reminds me of supernothing....or maybe i'm just reading way too much into it |

I think it's an "FU" at tom kalnoky. Hey I do think he was the only real talent behind catch but their description of kalnoky is dead on though, have you read the album covers of streetlight? He sounds pompous to me. |
