| I just heard this song for the first name early this morning like around 4am and my it just made me so still; I just listened. I agree with Lyrica. He is saying goodbye to this girl, but it doesn't sound like a done-deal-type-of-goodbye. For some reason, he and this girl will always be in love and at odds. That's how i see it. I love this song! I just heard it yesterday and it just did something to me. I was crying-- on a sunny day and I'm crying! Well, I think this song is just about a boy who is a daydreamer, and yet he doesn't appear to be the daydreamer some folks deem lazy. "He could change the world with his hands behind his back" (!!!!). That has got to be one of the best line in song history! Also, she describes him as a "real lover" -- most dreamy types are. He is someone that really can just sit on the doorstep and pass his life away because he is changing other people's lives just by sitting there dreaming. Well, I guess. Gotta love how she says: WAITING FOR SURPRISE! Thanks ADELE for this song! I LOVE IT! |

| To me this song is about a girl who is most likely a belle-laide. EVERY LITTLE THING SHE DOES IS MAGIC! Come on now -- only a belle laide would have charm like that! He is so smitten with her! The way the song is sung, to me, doesn't match the lyrics. I love the song, though. I especially like how he says "MET" at the WAY END of the song. That gets to me -- pure heartache in the way "met" is sung. | |

| This songs that draws you in and stays on you. It's so hard to shake. Some days I can barely get beyond that first line. I love this song so much, but at times it gets to me -- sits right on my heart and just hangs there. It makes me so sad! | |

What I love best about this song is how she says the "der" at the end of some of the ALEXANDERS. I can't get over that. It breaks my heart! I agree with aammiiee -- it's about a girl addicted to a boy. That's all it is! So simple, yet so great! |
