I've never been to New Orleans but I love the way this song mokes it sound. I I could sit in a Smoky Bar and listen to this song and Sultans of Swing and eat some Blackened Cat fish and Jubalia I could Die Happy. I couldn't believe noone had commented on this So I had to become a member just so this song wouldn't be negleted. Listen to the voice on that guy, Listen to the Sax and the Mornful guitars this will send shivers down your spine. And then listen to the lyrics, Lyrics like Mark comes up with should cause terminal embarrassment to 98% of the song writters on the pop sceen. I am a huge Knopfler fan, Saw him perform in 2006 amazing, he has lots of pretty good songs but none better then this. I you need to listen to it send me an email I'll send it to you. |
