I agree, it's basically about getting older and letting things unfold as they do. The first time i heard this I thought of the Beatles too actually. Great song, I love the break where it transitions into just music for the last 2 minutes or so. Genius. |

Following the person who mentioned the movie 'across the universe'... I totally agree. After seeing the scene with the military, that’s really all that comes to my mind when I hear this song. "I want you"... that's what Uncle Sam’s posters always said when they were trying to get people to join the war… and the "she's so heavy" part could be referring to the statue of liberty, or just the whole war in general using a feminine take on the whole thing. It's saying that it's hard being drafted for the war, it really changes your life... it’s a heavy bearing to be carrying… she’s so heavy... I don't know. lol. Just trying to come up with some ideas. It worked really well with the movie though. |

This is by far their best song.... and i have different lyrics then the one's up already. some of the spots don't make sense, but they sound right. lol listen and read at the same time & try to fix them! lol You could wake up in the morning and try to feel so good that you didn't realize and the things they're like will stop you from crying in the break of night will stop you from crying I couldn't take up more space in my mind if there's a back door it isn't easy to find cause as they come from self indulgence we will meet our world to ____ selfish So can you tell me that you feel the same when you stare at all the faces full of so much shame or is the view too high to tell us apart til you can live your life and keep up your lying i can't stand to watch the TV liars and the killers keep staring at me and the boys and the girls they tell them free willl grow up to destroy everything that they see it sounds right, but some of them don't really make sense. lol and i think it's liars and the killers too, although i used to think it was "liars on the couch keep staring at me" but i know that's wrong now =) so thank! |
