this whole album except a few songs seem to be mainly about how he cannot deal with the pain and discomfort that come with being in a band, especially one that is "successful" with just one or two albums, seems to me like he was telling us something, i talked to James and the original guitarist here in Austin (where he lives now) and his lyrics are all apparently interpretive to him and some but wut i got was that u will never know, but since the band and James took off... I think we can say he definitely did not want this... |

this song is not about love or anything like that, it is about the outsider (like in schools that get made fun of) that ends up shooting up his entire school because he didnt get enough attention as a kid and was made fun of way too much , soo much that his suicidal self that craved fame and all its decadence wanted to kill everyone that hurt him dearly. hence all the lyrics in... the song "do it somewhere far from here you suicidal embasil" |

nah i believe this whole song is about addiction and how it can take over everything, the jealous daughter (who wants to either eat or get her fix) starves to death for the mothers habit, he throws himself into his injuries and closes his eyes as the morphine from the hospital is injected, he would do anything to feel "alive" on drugs like "morphine" anybody else agree? |
