| Yeah I've picked those couple corrections up as well I think since I've listened to it about a hundred times already. I can't figure out what he says at that one part though, varicose is a condition of blood veins being swollen I believe.. but there's definitely an 'n' in there somewhere. | |

The monster he's talking about is depression. He's saying that it's starting to eat him alive and it won't stop unless he overcomes it. "Maybe ever and anon, I forget about the pain" Every once in a while he forgets about the pain, but only temporarily. "Someone bending light comes along, and leans flowers toward the sun." People come along that change his path, and try to support him and push him in the right direction. The last 4 lines are basically saying that he can't figure out wether or not his broken love is ruining him or if he's becoming a better person because of it. |
