| Tilly and the Wall – Some Names Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
The first few lines address that the song is about someone, and that the person should pretend it's about someone else ("some names have been changed to protect identities") Haha, to the previous poster, don't overanalyze things. Just accept that it's a song, and go with it. While I won't reveal who it's about, a lot of the references are not meant to be interpreted, because they would only be familiar to the people involved. The whole song is sort of talking about memories, then an incident that changed a lot. Hope that clears it up ;) |

| Bright Eyes – An Interview with Conor Oberst Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Let's just clear this all up. There should be no dispute anymore, this album came out 7 years ago. 1) The voice is Todd Fink's. 2) Conor's voice is heard at the end. 3) It's NOT a real interview. Conor did want to add it, but didn't think people would take it this seriously and thought they would know it was not his voice. |

| Bright Eyes – Feeling It (For Ian) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Justin Oberst is Conor's older brother. Ian McElroy is Conor's cousin and was his bandmate in Desaparecidos. The Ian people are refering to in the song "Poison Oak" is different. He passed away. That is the Ian sung about in this song. | |
| Bright Eyes – Classic Cars Lyrics | 18 years ago |

a little bird =) told me this song was not completely about, but heavily influenced by jenny lewis, who is conor's good friend, onetime girlfriend. she talks alot about hank williams jr., she is older than conor, and from california. to clarify previous posts: conor NEVER dated winona ryder. any rumors about love song references being about her are completely false. |
