maybe this song is about touring but when i heard it my impression was that it was about liking the feeling of being sort of disconnected. and knowing that maybe you should pull yourself back down to the real world, but also knowing that it's just so much easier to stay floating. i think that in the song, he really does care about the rest of his life, girls that he's met, and his home and family, but at the same time he's enjoying the loneliness of not having anyone, if that makes sense. |
