Wow. Amazing song. I think its about a girl and a guy that were together for a long time. The guy wanted to and was hoping that they could be together forever. But the girl did something terrible like cheat on him. They didn't talk for a month after he found out and he was hoping that it would fix things and they could be happy and in love again. She was very sorry about what she had done and she wanted him to want her back. He wanted to but he just couldn't forgive her. Sounds like what happened to me. =/ Except we were only together for like...maybe 5 months. Probably not even that long. And I didn't cheat on him. I didn't do anything even close to that. What I did wasn't even bad compared to cheating on somebody. But now I'm forcing myself to move on. Even though deep down I know I would do anything for him to be mine again. |

| This song is absolutely heavenly. I remember not too long ago I was listening to this song and I started crying because I could only dream of having a love like this. But whats totally hilarious is I've fallen completely head over heels for the guy of my dreams in the past week. Ever since then I can't stop listening to this song. Because everytime I hear this song I just picture the guy I love sitting there playing his guitar and singing it to me. Even if my name isn't Delilah I wouldn't really care. This song is just gorgeous and if I could I would die for everyone to have a love like in this song. | |

Wow. This song is amazing. It never really made me cry until I started reading everybody's comments. I've been listening to it on repeat for the past 30 minutes now. I can't say I can relate to bearly any of you because I've never had anyone close to me die. But today I found something out about my friend and then I heard this song and I heard so many things in this song that I could easily tell to any of my friends and it would be completely true. The part I would completely dedicate to all of my friends is... "I will never let you fall I'll stand up with you forever I'll be there for you through it all Even if saving you sends me to heaven" Because I love all of my friends so much and I would do absolutely anything for them. I would even give my life for them. One thing I've noticed about all of these comments is that everyone was reminded of someone they love...whether that person is alive or not. So I guess that pretty much tells what this song is about......love. |
