"theres a war inside of me..." does she cause her own heartbreak? just so she can write a new song about XheartbreakX? does she push down her heartbroken feelings? "or let it run me into the ground". or let that heartbreak take her to her grave...? and i think its partially true what beegs26 said about being obsessed over a new relationship...but it seems like in this case there wasn't even a relationship to start with. cause if yo boo didn't call you "in weeks" wouldn't you stop that right then and there? and perhaps she is just a sad lonely romantic who just wants love? because for her life is not worth living without someone to sleep with [not sexually of course but just...normal sleep. someone to wake up next to and someones arms to fall asleep in]. but because she is such a hopeless romantic perhaps she will give this person who has yet to call her another chance? this person still has time to redeem themselves. "and i wash the windows outside in hopes that the glare will bring you around" "polishes" herself up? physically? just to get attention from this person hopefully. she changed her appearance somehow. "sunshine is days away i wont be saved i know all the words i cant say that ill love you forever i wont say ill love you forever" happiness is DAYS away? and maybe friends (or sister) try to cheer her up to bring that sunshine closer...but she knows everything they (sister) are (is) going to say and she cant say she loves this person because well she doesn't love them so she convinces herself she doesn't love them telling herself "i won't say that ill love you forever" and those are all my thoughts on this song. i think i have so much to say because i feel like i can relate so much to it... |
