i cant beleive no one has posted for this song yet...its such an awesome song...its practically a teen anthem! its about wanting to stay how you are, about how when you grow older you will remember as the best years of your life.its awesome (it could also be about marriage "for better or worse these are the days" get it?..it probably has a duel meaning) i mean last night i went to a concert they were headliners for and they played this song and the lead singer even said "this is for all you teens, this is your life, these are the days you will remember, these are the days!" but this is a fucking awesome song! |

this is one of THE BEST songs EVER....every single person should hear it at least once...the first time i heard it i had no clue what it meant..probably bcause i was only 7 - 10 (cant remember the exact age) but then a year ago i was hanging out with my friend amanda and we turned on her TV to the music chanel..rock ballads or something like that and the song came on and i was like..OMG! i know that song!! and we both went quiet to listen to it and i was like "holy fuck...its about suicide..omg." i almost cried bcuz it was right after my uncle had commited suicide...but it is a really amazing song. |

this song, like all other songs, has multiple meanings...it is political. it is saying that the government tries to mold you into exactally what hey want you to be and if you arent what they want you to be then you are like scum to them. it also taliks about how people who "live on the hill" (meaning rich people) are treated much better and "working class" (people who are middle & low class) are treated like shit more often than not...it is also saying that, in todays society, if you arent the "model" citezen and "rich" then you might as well expect to be treated like shit.and i think that that is what the song is mostly about. |

omg...this song is like..me & my bfs relationship in a nutshell..i mean...in 2 years ill be out of skool (he has been out for 2 or 3) and we live like 1000 or 2000 miles away and he has said "just close ur eyes and ill be right by ur side" and like if i ever told my friends bout our relationship theyd laugh or like be like wtf...so yea this song is like so amazing...i dont normally like acustic songs but this one is like WOW...truely amazing yet so simple...sometimes simplicity is so romantic and amazing.

ok...this song is about "the vampire" falling in love with a "human" girl. the problem is that she loves life and the sun and most things "the vampire" cant handle or hates. "the vampire" wants the girl to love him like she loves life and the sun and being human but she doesnt want to give those things up, i think she loves him back but she is afraid of giving up all the things she loves to become a vampire and be with him.
this is about being in love with someone u shouldnt be in love with or being in love with someone who is your complete opposite but not being able to stop loving them no matter how hard it may be to love them in the first place.(if that makes any sense)
personally i think that this is about changing for the one you love and being afraid of it.
sorry if none of that makes sense but if you knew wut was going on in my brain you would get it...umm...if you DO get it ten GOOD 4 U!!! thats a great accomplishment if u get wut im saying

I beleive that this song could have dual meanings...it could be about the devil or it may be about feeling invisible and wanting the attention of someone.It really depends on your interperitation of the song. i know i've spelled things wrong in this so don't bother telling me...i KNOW i can't spell...but yea i really beleive that this song could have 2 meanings..i think it could really mean BOTH of those things....but thats just my opinion. |
