People assume that this is about a random number...I think he is either stalking her, or in love with her, or both - he truly loves her but is afraid to take that next step because of her beauty and resulting unattainability, so he has become 'disturbed' and it has transitioned to stalking. |

It's CLEAR to me that he cheated on her, and he's paying the price. "You can blame it all on me" -- he's outright admitting to it. Also, "But when the morning comes, I'm right back where I started again" tell us that he continues to do so, even when he knows he's wrong. I don't know why Jen likes this song as it exemplifies what is wrong with the world. |
