Jethro Tull – Living In The Past Lyrics 17 years ago
Well, there's no difference really in the message of both verses. The second just repeats, and rephrases the first. It is quite nice though.

The Chemical Brothers – The Pills Won't Help You Now Lyrics 17 years ago
I don't think the pills he refers to aren't any sort of psychoactive kind, but rather an anti-depressant, maybe. So, person A is with person B, person B leaves and doesn't call to check up, person A is worried about them, thought they would be happy, but got mixed up in all sorts of nonsense and is in fact, not happy. At least, thats what I got out of it. I'm sure some of their songs are focused towards the use of certain psychoactive substances, but not with the intention of drowning your sorrows and using it as an anti-depressant.

Butthole Surfers – Shit Like That Lyrics 17 years ago
I thought the first line might be "Keep seeing crap in my name". I love that voice though. Awesome song

Does anyone here think that the caller sounds a lot like, or is Daniel Johnston? Gibby & Daniel are good friends.

Why? – Waterfalls Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is absolutely brilliant! the metaphor of the acid in the spinal fluid and the rocks left behind from a dried river is very clever. The men's whiskers and woman's homogenized complexion most likely means that you can tell if a person used to be depressed/hurt in the past just by looking at their face, hence, the rocks and spinal fluid.
