oh i forgot to add:
I was watching Seinfeld the other today and he was dicussing how some people labeled him gay due to his neatness and thinness. I never caught the meaning of the title until I relized the thin stereotype for homosexual men. that's what really reinforced the entire feel for the song for me. |

This is my favorite Dylan song. The live version from no direction home is even better.
The allusions to homosexuality are clearly obvious and quite entertaining. The beautiful, surreal mood set for the tragedy of the outcast is pure genius. Dylan is the man, no fucking doubt. |
