Coming from a guitarist, Suicide Silence's actual music is almost disappointingly simple. But this is why they put on such a good show. They can get down, and it fucking blows your eardrums all to hell. The lyrics are not dumb. All the time. The shit on The Cleansing is alot of beat your ass stuff, but look up Girl of Glass and Green Monster. No Pity for a Coward too. You can't even deny how great it is. The Fallen. Unanswered. Hands of a Killer. Jesus Christ how can you say it's even close to Limp Bizkit. I'm not even kidding look up The Fallen lyrics. True Story.
Suicide Silence are one of the best death metal bands out today. I mean fuck. Breakdowns may be a trend now, but at least they fucking do it good. Fuck the "Deathcore" title. Suicide Silence is THE shit.

Uhh, this is Definitely Psychosocial. Everybody thats saying it's All Hope is Gone must have missed the premier of the video.
But the Rain part in the chorus makes sense, cause at the time they were doing this album, Iowa was getting pounded with storms and heavy rains and caused major flooding. They recorded the album in Iowa. Thats what i think it is. It could have another meaning, actually it probably does, but i'm pretty sure thats one too. |

Notice that the song starts off slow, and slowly builds throughout the song, gets heavy, peaceful, etc. And at the end it fades out, maybe they did this on purpose as the beginning someone being born into the world, and taken away. Just something I noticed. |

Maybe the Heart of his dream is the mountain. the peak is where he has to go to get the curse lifted? when he puts the crystal skull at the peak of the mountain. i dunno. I like the original better, but this one seems to be at a different Point of View. No Quarter is a term for No Mercy. I think that they did a kick ass cover. I dont think that anyone could have done better. Tool is such an intricate band, Wings For Marie, PT. 1 and 2 are both excellent peices of art. Damn Good. |
