It sounds like he's being haunted for what he's done. For example: Maybe his involvement in drugs/alcohol. "mad man and polluted"-- a madman from all of drugs/alcohol, and being 'polluted' by it. "gutted institutions" --the rehabs "the hardest part is letting go of, your dreams" when your addicted to something, it's hard to achieve what you've always wanted to do. "and through it all, how could you cry for me? because i don't feel bad about it" -and- "Dont you breathe for me, Undeserving of your sympathy" how could people be sorry for him for putting himself through this? ((Anyways, just thinking about it. I love this song and it's probably one of my favorites on TBP...When they performed at the concert it was amazing!)) |

Okay, I need to get this off my chest. Why are all the 13 year old girls obsessed with Pete Wentz? It's driving me insane. Okay, he is good looking to an extent, but really, it's so annoying!! To me, Pete Wentz seems really stuck up, and he's not even all of the talent behind FOB. Patrick is. Anyways, this song is really catchy. I love FOB (just not the teenage groupies) Couldn't have a dance mix cd without them. :) |

ummmm...okay, well this is probably wrong, but don't get mad at me!! :p When I first heard it I noticed the words "chemical romance." and well, obviously that reminds you of "my chemical romance". so I know that bert and gerard "supposedly" had this little fling going on, and there's pictures to prove it (them making out), and something happened between them and they refuse to talk to each other anymore. Bert had an interview and when Gerard was brought up, he refused to speak about Gerard and MCR and so forth. So I was wondering if this song might be referring to Gerard. ? :P |

I think that most of you are right about it being somebody trying to help somebody who's suicidal. But if you watched the video, I couldn't really understand why the guy was beating up this winged creature.-Unless it was supposed to be a metaphor for her deadly thoughts. Any thoughts? I love this song, and I think it's a bit more refreshing to here a song from TDG that doesn't have so much anger. :) |
