This song always brings me to tears, because it was the first song I listened the night that my ex broke up with me. The whole message of needing to "breathe God in" just hit me so hard, because while there wasn't anything wrong or immoral with the relationship, it just didn't seem to be something God wanted me involved in it. The line "I tried so hard to not walk away and when things don't go my way I still carry on and on just the sa-ay-ame" hits me so because the relationship didn't end the way I wanted it to, yet I still need to just rely on God, and know he's looking out for the best for me. |
