I believe it's about a person that has been close to insanity because of his love for this woman called Jane. I say the following from personal experience. He tries so hard to make her love him and be with her , but she keeps rejecting his love and pushes him away. He struggles so much that he has reached the line of love and hate, he loves her , but yet again he is angry with her , you can see that when he says " Would you like that? Would you like that?!?!? " In a pretty angry tone. And sometimes he just want to let out and lash at her , but at the same time he loves her. He lays on his bed sick and sore , trying to figure out what she likes and try to be that. And the more she rejects him , the he starts to believe that the world is useless , and love does not exist , he has reached the point on crawling on the floor for some of her love. He realises how low he has fallen , and what he has become , and then at the peak of this intense moment . He even hates himself for allowing to become like this. Once again , from personal experience. |

hockeyguy3066: First of all , get your fucking facts straight , this song is everything but anti-religious. Sully is a wiccan , and not only he believes in a GODDESS but in a GOD too. Second , this song is'nt about bashing , this song talks about courage , and about having the balls to stand against your fate even if you end up fading away at the end. To me? This song wakes the feeling of justice and courage. |
