aight for those of you who are wondering what this song is about, well i think that this is about two people in a relationship. the guy has given up every secret he has ever had, he has told this girl everyhting about himself, every dark spot in his life. everythign he feels about her. and now he wants to know more about this girl, but she wont open up her insedes, she wont tell him about herself or how she feels about him. and this situation is tearing him up and he's giving up and wondering why she wont tell him. he feels that he will do anything to know her thoughts, but still nothing from this girl yet he continues to go after her, he feels like it is woth his time |

well let me start off by sayign this is one of the best spongs i have ever heard, as wella s one of the most beautiful. my inturpretation of this song is:
this person has just gotten out of a relationship in which he has obviously been hurt badly, maybe his/her partner cheating, and the person finding(hence the "knowing nothing is better than knowing it all.") and as this happens he is looking around and see'ing that everyone around him are wasting their lives away and trying to convince himseld its b/c they are in relationships, but that doesnt quite work for he feels a great emptyness inside him without his partner. and now as he is thinking, he realizes that all of the thinking that he has done is pointless, for he has found no answer for what has happened. All he wants is to have his partner back in his life and hear her voice. and "without it all" representing the relationship he is choking on the nothingness he is feeling but he knows one thing for sure, he is reaching out for help but their is no answer from people. he would have rather not have known about what went on and went on living happiely than found out and known everything. but now he is alone and hurting with no one to go to, he is on his own.. |
