when I hear skeleton key, I think of how its purpose is to open up every door in the house using solely one object "you're finally free to twist and turn like a skeleton key" = the struggle to open up new doors in one's life?? he's relating her to this inanimate object, saying that she's left to struggle by herself ,once again, as he no longer loves her thats just what I got out of it, I could be completely wrong... |
