anyone else here the really high pitched faint screams during the piano solo? its chris martin through and through, this song is defiantly one of the most beautiful pieces of music i've come across. i think this song is about loosing sight of the real qualities of life, and becoming a target of the media. jay-z makes this obvious through his addition to the prospectors march edition. |

The lyrics to this song are so perfect in describing the situation. I think this song is about a man who is in a very serious relationship with somone who he has loved, but does not feel as strong as he used to towards her. Instead of telling her this, he tries to deal with it himself and keeps his feelings bottled up. he thinks about how if he were to be seperated from her, either, his life would fall apart or, would lead to the overall improvment of his life because he would be focused on his goals and not her. this song is clearly about a man who cannot make up his mind on what to do with his relationship, and still thinks there is a hope of re- kindling it. |

this song makes me feel so much better. after seeing my girlfriend after abit of a rough patch, i dropped her at the station and listend to this track all the way home and understood its meaning. i think this song is about a fallout between a couple, and they have just made it up to oneanother; when u fall out with the one u love, u cannot stop feeling strange like everything is going wrong. after the fight u realise its all changed, everything is fine again and u start to apreciate what u have. he is compelled to tell her how he is feeling. |
