yea, cmon, were have all the sparta fans gone? At The Drive-In is my fav band, along with TMV, but i heard these guys were shit so i didnt really check them out until this album. i heard this song in my music store and i just thought, "F%&K i gotta get this album" and so i got threes. i think that all there albums are pretty even, but i was pretty dissapointed with threes, in that if anything, it was a step back, it didnt innovate, it did nothing new, sure its good to listen to, but so is the LOTR score. its more like this a sountrack to jim wards now boring life (hes married, wollows in self pitty, and isnt kicking ass in ATDI anymore) as opposed to a groundbreaking rock record such as RELATIONSHIP OF COMMAND and DE-LOUSED IN THE COMATORIUM. i mean, all these ATDI bands are in their third LP release, and its pretty obvious that ATDi and TMV has made some history making shit, but sparta has produced the same age old record over and over. Also Tony Hajiar insnt a big part of Spartas music, imean, he made the formula of ATDI work, intuative, original drumming. but now its just mediocre, unoriginal, and doesnt pronounce him as an important part of the band. Sparta better do something innovative, fresh and original for the fourth record or they will lose my love, and im sure many other fans that feel this way. To jim, Matt, Keely and Tony, do something excitng next time, if not then maybe its time for two of u to try and re-unite with some old buddies. ANYWAY, this is maybe THE best song on the album, -ININFAREDISHOWISEE- |
