This song is about someone going through a depression, because obviously when you're depressed all you can see is the hate and ugliness around you. But then that person's eyes are opened at the end and is pretty much happy just to be themselves then to be just like everyone else. this person looks at the bigger and brighter picture, moves on. Of course pissed at god, because obviously god put our asses all here and he had to make me different. Hell, no way in my lifetime will I be a prep, and I went through a huge depression but hey, I'm happy with who I am and I love my fucking black clothes god damnit. In the end, you just don't care what they say anymore, cause it's lame and boring. People who are different get teased and critizied, and hell, most people I know in my small ass town who have a brain and mind are very, very few. I have a friend Bobby and Troy who I can only pretty much relate with, and I'm a chick. haha. |

Funny enough I was in a situation that is sooo similar. I was with a boy, and his brother fell in love with me. Sadly and stupidly I fell for him too. He'd cry to me, and do everything this song says. Scary for us when it came out actually. 'Can’t keep believing, We’re only deceiving Ourselves and I’m sick of the lie!' BTW, when the video came out, we were the only ones who could grasp a basic concept while no one understood... He whispered to me about the wolves in the video... said she was saying her last goodbyes when it left... that ba***rd! lol, jk |
