| Deftones – Change (In the House of Flies) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| No, some songs are literal. | |
| Regina Spektor – Après Moi Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Whether either of them actually said it is still up for debate. | |
| M.I.A. – Paper Planes Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I don't understand how no one has put 2 and 2 together. The word isn't SWAGGER it is SWAG. "no one on the corner has swag like us" Swag is slang for weed, meaning that they have the best weed "Hit me on my burner prepaid wireless" Drug dealers use prepaid phones so they can't be traced "We pack and deliver like UPS trucks" Meaning that they will pack and deliver your weed to you. She is saying SWAG, not swagger. |

| I know that this post is 4 years old, but that was funny as shit. | |
| Haste the Day – Stitches Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Strumnasty - Whos to say which words are "filthy?" Damn, ass, hell, etc are used in the bible, so are there considered 'filthy?' I feel that the given bible passage would mean communicating filthy things, not simply using certain words. | |
| P.O.D. – Portrait Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I agree with the first 2 posters. I think that organized religion and all of the different denominations have altered other's perceptions of Christ and what he is really about. | |
| Incubus – Have You Ever Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I've got a question. In the song he says, "but a profit did once say that honesty's a lonely word." In a Billy Joel song called 'honesty' he says 'honesty is a lonely word.' Is this a mere Coincidence or is Brandon calling Billy Joel a profit? |

| Incubus – Beware! Criminal Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This is what I love about Incubus. Their lyrics can be interpretted to mean different things. I always viewed this song as a guy who was in a relationship being cheated on, and eventually had enough and was getting out, while at the same time letting everyone else know that she was a 'criminal' and not to date her. But I also see how this could relate to a narcissist who isn't going anywhere in life because they are too rapped up in them self. |

| Haste the Day – Akeldema Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think this is about just that. I think it is about someone who is feeling guilty from some sort of betrayal. It is eating him from the inside, and even though he realizes the damage he has done, he can't take it back. | |
| Haste the Day – White Collar Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I feel like he is talking about a break up with a girlfriend. It sounds like the relationship has been dry and over for a while. He doesn't understand why she can't realize it, and she won't admit that anything is wrong. Thoughts? |

| Incubus – Diamonds and Coal Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think its pretty simple. Even if you fight with someone frequently, if you love them enough it is worth sticking around for and waiting to see what happens. | |

I think hotfoxyangel hit the nail on the head. Stand tall and Stand firm |

| Haste the Day – Chorus of Angels Lyrics | 18 years ago |

To me its seems to be about the world today. How people need to open their eyes to what is really going on around us. And then we need to stand up and make some changes (test the strength of me) But like Aaron said, thats just my opinion. And I agree, best HTD album yet. |
