i think hes trying to draw a parallel to the fact that there's always been a minority in this country that is feared and regarded as different. By trying to show our hypocracy in judging others while we were once judged and persecuted, he asks who the terrorists really are. |

this son is sort of a after effect of the next song on the album, God of wine. A girl is paralyzed and in a coma in a drunk driving accident, and has lost all feeling in all of her body. Thats why he says (i felt u long after we were through) Her boyfriend is by her bedside trying to get himself emotionally through the situation, remembering back when she could walk, swim, and go out. The doctors dont think shes going to make it(The words they use so lightly) , but he's trying to hold onto hope. |
