| This song is talking about how beastly and animalistic people are and can be. and I think how being treated by somebody in a beastly way, can make you that way yourself; in the first verse the father rapes his daughter and i beleive the second verse is talking about the daughter. "Sie taucht die Feder in sein Blut (she dips a feather in his blood)" the blood is that of her father and he is probably dead, she might have killed him because of what he did to her. | |

I believe Till has commented that this song actually was about his relationship with his mother, but i might be wrong. he's being metaphorical in some places to show the degree of neglect from or lack of his mother or whatever it was; "hab keine navel auf dem bauch (i have no navel on my stomach) for example. he probably does have a navel, but somebody with literally no mother wouldn't, therefore he might as well not have one. But of course, as with most songs, this could well have several possible interpretations. All of the ones posted seem possible, so they're probably all right. |

| This is one of my favorite Rammstein songs. It is telling the bad and painful side of love. Everybody knows that love can be great, but this song tells also of how it can be cruel and painful. I dont think its talking about a specific example of its treachery, just what it is and does as a whole on the negative side. | |
