Love this song, it has a meaning for a friendship of mine... or parts of it. I really don't like TBS, the song had no meaning to me, just ripping off someone else's lyrics and plastering them into a mix of other words doesn't make it your song, nor does it make it clever. This song certainly struck me a hell of a lot more. "And is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with 'Cause you left the frays from the ties you severed when you say, "best friends means friends forever"" You know how "frays" and "phrase" are homonyms? I really can't decide which would make more sense in the context, "phrase" meaning "best friends means friends forever" and "frays"meaning fights. --Erin, 13 |
