this song is clearly a referance to rock making its comeback after rap and hip-hop and their stint as the dominant genre. just look at the chorus. look at the opening line - "after escaping the hangmans noose and regaining my cognisance" he is refering to someone being hanged, the "noose" is the rope. so, rock escaped death, and after being a little shaky, finally got got back into some good styles. "gonna find my executioners and show them exactly what it means to live" is clearly a sign that clutch would be changing their style, even just a little bit, which they did. |

I think that this song is about the fact that religion is slowly becoming less and less important, and no one cares. look at the, "the yolk of faith, splatters silent!" the, "we've killed it" would be religion itself. neil has pointed out in a few songs that he is atleast a little religious. i now refer you to, "tight like that." |

| search, "dodecahedron fever" on google. i dare you. now search, "dodecahedron." it comes up with a 12 sided figure, and all the faces are regular pentagons. neil IS pissed about the, "unnatural, scientific, and mathmatical" world that is coming. cape kid is right. | |
