So has anyone here considered, yes the album is different, and yes i love their old stuff vastly. Atreyu is a great band in every way, but lets face it, every band does this. they progress and change the styles of music. maybe its maturing, or maybe its because they realized this is way easier and its the best way to sell records. i personally still enjoy the new album, its different but its got some good stuff in it. just gotta keep an open mind and remember the older they get, the more they play, they will eventually change. |

This is probably my favorite song by Staind since Break the Cycle came out i havent been very impressed with the music....i mean they have and always will be an amazing band Aaron Lewis is one of the most amazing lyricists/vocalists around and this song i simply amazing and more true than anyone would like to admit |

Honestly i had my doubts about this when my friend asked me "hey have you heard the new Good Charlotte song ft. M. Shadow and Synyster Gates from A7X?"...but i must say i am highly impressed ...this song is amazing in every aspect. I guess it just didnt sound right because those 2 band are far from each other in genre, and no offense to Good Charlotte but A7X is way more advanced instrumentally but it worked out very well and this is def. one of my favorite songs that has came on in a long time |

heh maybe they should go more hardcore....i seriously dont think so, Aaron is WAY to talented and has much more talent than to be wasted in a band that does nothing but scream the majority of the time, he was always my favorite in Underoath doing the vocals in most of their songs that made the song sound so much better like "Reinventing Your Exit", "A Boy Brushed in Red Living in Black and White" ....dont get me wrong Underoath is all around an amazing band all with amazing guitar rifts, drumming, lyrics, but this side project of his suits him as a single person more than Underoath does |

Well i'll agree alot with what everyone else says about this song....it can be put into alot of different perspectives...it could have to do with a drug addiction, but if you read closely and listen it can't be soley about a drug addiction think about it, like the line "i bet you believe that im better off with you than someone else" is most likely about a woman and not drugs....but one last thing I'm pretty positive the line
"You won't try to save me
You just want to break me, and leave me desperate"
should actually be "You won't try to save me, You just want to hurt me, and leave me desperate"
i know its a screaming part but if you've ever listened to the acoustic version it sticks out pretty clearly in that one |
