in my OWN opinion i think this means... that people make our lives better then they are. we disguise our life with bows and ribbons when really they're a piece o' shit. so yeah. i think that she's also saying that people sometimes ignore the truth of how things really are. which i guess is the same thing i said earlier. this lyrics are really good. i love the part, "we're moderate, we modernize, until our hell is a good life". i believe this song is about a girl who wants to find true love and cannot find it. she searches and searches. and i partly think that she's having sex with so many people just to fill in the spaces of feeling so lonely and sad. this song is great. the lyrics, "looking on the bright side, when there is no bright side, coming in your pants," makes me laugh everytime. :] |

this is my first ever comment and i'll try and do as best that i can. i think this is a reference to the bible somehow and I also think that this is about Bush and how he acts all high and mighty and he's [obviously] not. so, i think, plainly, this is about their frustrations toward bush. and the part where he says, "By claiming God as his only rock, He's stealing a god from the Israelite, Stealing a god from a Muslim, too, There is only one god through and through" he's saying that Bush is backing up his reasons for somethings on God as his only reason; when really he's wrong. this song is fantastic. i think it has a lot of meaning to it. and i have yet to figure it out.
