I think this song is about crating Marilyn Manson And now he can’t tell him self from the art. People don’t seam to get or care about the real meaning so it feels It’s is image that people like and not his message. If he looked like Justin Timberlake would people still Be his fans. If the package was changes would they still want the Message. It’s also how you have to give up things you like to fit in to his crowd Or maybe how he had to give up things to fit his ask. The light harted music of disco How to go because it doesn’t go with the image The package. The monkey with the misspelled name Is just the conformist calling them self and individualist The choirs is the transformation Of being a child and a true individual to just another person Doing what they do to fit in |

To me this song is about consumerism in general “Everything has been said before There's nothing left to say anymore When it's all the same You can ask for it by name” This part talks about how nothing is original anymore And how he is not saying anything new just repackaged .nihilism This next to verses are the slogan the pitch. talking about the message isn’t selling the message it’s the package or the commercial that really matters. You give it the catchy slogan and a little sex and you can have someone buy something they are diametrically opposed to (Jewish persons / Nazism) The next part is about the advertisers flaunting their power in front of you It’s new(he already told us nothings new anymore) Do you want it, yes Do you know what it is, no But you want it anyway yes Why because we told you, that you wanted it |
