okay, anne frank was not literally buried alive. she died of typhus...a lot of people did. she was fifteen, and the diary was given to her when she was thirteen. i believe the "buried her alive" line is, as many have stated, more symbolic than anything. she was buried at her camp, next to her sister, and with the thousands of others whom died. i understand the little boy in spain in presumable pepito, but i dont understand how that fits into the song... anyone? |
