"we're trying so hard not to fall asleep" that's what you want to do when you're with the person you love, you just want to stay awake all the time, so you won't miss a moment and i think "i'll try to sleep to keep you in my dreams 'till i can bring you home with me, i'll try to sleep, and when i do i'll keep you in my dreams" meant to show how much he missed her when she's not around, and just so he won't miss her as much, he'll keep her in his dreams (kinda personal experience, because when you closed your eyes, you could see the person you miss the most, and you won't miss them as much...) and i really love the part when he said "i'm yours for the taking..." this song just drained out all of my romantic emotion, and hope for a fairy tale ending on mine. if it did, this song will be played @ my wedding, i'll make the wedding singer learn it and sing it for me =) well if i could get the blue october to sing this at my wedding, it'll be cool too =P |
