the significance lies in how they pictate the naivity of the pair, the abortion referances are 'balanced' by the sweater. it stops the song from being too heavy which i feel gives it tits appeal. |

the lines "slowly walking faster down the wall, faster than a cannonball" impies that she [i think of high-heels stepping slowly and deliberately so its a she] brings distruction to the illusions the singer experiences when hes high/drunk, he would of preferred it if she had joined him and was less serious, or he thinks she cant do anythingabout it now as the action was in the past. |

i agree with Athenry's view on it. although i see the line "trace the moment fall forever" as the strongest in the song, its about losing oneself in the memory esatblished in the past but is repeating.
In my undersatnding Vindication means [roughly] to be free from guilt. Which when we carry on from Athenry's comment he has made his mind as to he wants/needs to do, and although it could potentially ruin everything he doesnt feel so guilty about wanting it, or acting on it. |

Im agreeing with cowbell love on this one, although i feel the lines "and I swear we were born to let you down, we scream but never make a sound" applies alot more to youth than anyone has suggested. |
