I'm so sad no one has commented on this yet... ) ,:* Let's Go Sailing is one of my favorite bands. The song is about getting over someone. She is comforting a friend who has just broken up with someone, probably a male friend. There had been issues all through the relationship but he left them alone in hopes they would go away: "And of course, you walk in the heat for miles. You forget the pain, but it comes back after a while." She is trying to put Love down to something that doesn't matter much so it doesn't feel like her friend has lost everything: "It was only Love" It's a very sweet song and her voice is so comforting and sincere. |
