You all are right. Underrated. But not only the song, it's the band that's highly underrated. Period. I have all their CD's and I think they're worth their weight in gold. Amazing Band. Amazing CD's. The Guitars alone in this song can bring you to tears, then you have the beautiful lyrics. My favorite part of the song and perhaps any song is "I've got the time, but I've got no reason..I'm broken done and waitin' patiently". I love that. But to say what the meaning of this song is, it's hard to tell. He's getting older and realizing it then settles down and tries to find love or maybe a love that he once had and he can't get her off of his mind so he goes after her. "Might not treat you right" could mean that he had her once before and didn't treat her right so he may think that he'll do it again...? That's my "brilliant" deduction. =P -Brandon |
