i think ur all dumb. This song is a story. Watch the video. The story is about two friends, bff's if you will, who just like to compete with each other. They take turns telling what they can do, both starting with riding their bikes with no handlebars as kids. At the bottem of the hill their older and go seperate paths indicated by the sign on the corner of the street. One taking the path of peace the other power. The first verse is the path of peace, him saying i can do this cool stuff....( teaching music and dance etc...) The secont verse is power. Him stating he can start a compony, make money, gain power and lead a nation. Then the two clash going back and forth as the peacfull friend can see that his buddy is a messed up leader and joins the people together to make peace. They protest and the power hungry frind goes on a rant showing off his powers ( here is where several inturpetations can take place) by saying he can kill, he gives the order and watches his BFF die and realizes what he has done. so if this song is all about how the gov has to much power or bush being dumb ur wronge. otherwise the video wouldnt have shown the man so sad in the end. yet i was very stoned when i heard this song.... |
