alright. not all of circa's songs are about anthony leaving saosin. i don't think he's that desprate for them. this strikes me as more of a boy with a horrible realationship with his mother. i sense a lot of resentment in this song. |

act appaled is about him leaving saosin, i really think these lyrics have more depth than anyone here would be able to decipher. this song is the song that made me fall in love with them. |

i don't understand why everyone thinks this song is so great. it's probably the least lyrically complex as well as the riffs and the drum beats. it's good. not the best. |

i agree with the person above me. i've never had a song affect me the way this one has. i heard it and my knees went weak, and my eyes started to burn. it's not only the lyrics that are so powerful; but the tone of his voice. i'm really irritated with the people who seem to think this song is about cocaine, mainly because he uses it in a metaphor. that last word being key. or the ones who think it's about a girl. please. though i do think this song has some connection with drug abuse, i really believe its more about an internal battle. perhaps his face could be "light and cocaine white" the more i write, i believe it's about his internal battle with his addiction. i love this band so much. their one of the few that can bring me to tears. |
