| USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) – Anti-Venom Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Correct lyrics: Still playing games with the hourly wagers feeling left out Could you not see the consequences of treading in your doubt Hope is always the antidote and I'm feeling what I can Could you not see the obviousness in acting like a man Fear is always the catalyst Sending shivers through my heart And I can't stop it from happening When I'm falling apart I can't stop it from happening When my hope light goes out, Love is always the aperture When my hope light goes out The truth is... When the snake sits on the right The truth is always the anti-venom The snake sits on the left The truth is always the anti-venom The snake sits on the right The truth is always the anti-venom The snake sits on the left I'm laying blame like a cowardly lion Stuck in what was then Could you not feel the enviousness corrode an alloy's end? Guilt is always the histamine And I'm scratching at the door Could you not feel the urgency And insist there's something more Love is always the catalyst You make music in my heart I can't stop it from happening When I'm falling apart I can't stop it from happening When my hope light goes out Love is always the aperture When my hope light goes out Love is always the aperture You make music in my heart I beat to You make music in my heart I dance to Pure intention is the scope I aim through You make music in my heart I dance to I dance to I dance to |

| Our Lady Peace – All You Did Was Save My Life Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I agree. This is supposed to be a proper rock album? It still sounds poppy. He says it's supposed to be Naveed. I'm a little disappointed.. This kind of seems worse than the last album. | |
| Metric – Gold Guns Girls Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think the fact that Emily made this song proves her brilliance. I can completely agree with feeling deep dissatisfaction, as nothing ever makes me feel happy, full. | |

| Our Lady Peace – Sell My Soul Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I always thought that it was about somebody who wanted to be somebody else. They were tired of all their mistakes, and wanted to "sell their soul" (like trading for a new one) or get rid of their life. They tried so hard and it just amounted to nothing and there were so many mistakes. They hurt so many people. And it was hard, but they were going to make it, even if they wanted to be somebody else every now and then. Of course, I have the same meaning for Breaking The Habit but every song always has to be about a relationship sometimes. I just think the way Raine sings sounds like the person the song is in the point of view of is in a lot of pain. | |
| Alanis Morissette – Precious Illusions Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| To me, Precious Illusions makes me think of someone who was all alone, picked on, and abused. Her "precious illusions" are the "best friends" who protected her and kept her strong. Now she's moving on from the abuse, refusing to take it, and taking shelter in people instead of her "precious illusions". Despite that, she finds it's hard to move on from those "precious illusions", because they have been "invisible best friends" and there for her for so long. | |
