haha i knew it was about prostitution! before i'd listened really closely to the lyrics, i thought it was just a cute song about a high school relationship. but then i started noticing all the references to money... yup. SHE WAS A HOOKAH! XD |

i must be weird, cause i hardly ever think of linkin park songs as boy/girl relationships. i think this song is about chester being molested by his dad: "You love the way I look at you While taking pleasure in the awful things you put me through" and then hurting himslef because of it: "You love the things I say I'll do The way I’ll hurt myself again just to get back at you" i'm not sure i really understand the chorus... maybe his dad had some problems as a kid... or perhaps he was really affected by the divorce. Anyway, he takes it out on chester. :( poor chazzy. i don't really get the mike part, but it's really cool! :D |
